On Test Currently: -Heroic Storytelling now reduces noxious and arcane damage to group members by 3%. The group has a 10% chance to resist Stifle effects. While this is a big improvement over increased HO damage, it feels more like something you'd tack on to the bard resist songs with a focus than an endline. I proposed that Heroic Storytelling stops ranged and melee autoattack from being delayed by spell/CA casting, akin to how Spell autoattack has been said to work. Pros: - Slight increase in DPS by allowing group members to chain more abilities. - Classes with long casting CAs or CA chains aren't "forced" into 6s weapons. - Not gamebreakingly powerful. Cons: - Removes some of the skill from parsing well as a melee class (timing autoattacks). - Less useful for raiding Troubs than Dirges. Commentators feel free to propose you alternative Heroic Storytelling or say if you like the one currently on test.

<p>I think the change to Heroic Storytelling is much better than it was, but I would never spend that many points in that line to get there.</p>

<p>Meh, I dunno- uncapped melee stats/dps/haste means the points needed to get there aren't wasted.  the melee stats/dps mod will add directly to your autoattack damage- and my guess is that dps mod will become more linear than it currently is on live.  It becomes a better overall line than it's ever been before.</p>

As the main Troub in the raid I'm slotted in the group with all the casters including an Illy. Putting any points in Minstrel's Melody is pointless since my own attack speed is just fine without using Allegretto.</p>
