Really ? is that serious ?

I see this as stepping in enchanter territory, we already have good roots.

It's not really an ability that i expected.

Warden have damage spike issues, because the anti death are two weak and because the 3 stoneskin of the mythical + cyclone cannot cover damage spike that come back every 30 second.

Furies have mana issue, their hibernate/porcupine/back in the fray cover damage spike a bit better than the warden abilities but not by much.

Are you talking about Calm Animal the first AA in the AGI line?

We have had both a mez and a charm for animals for a very long time, and they are utterly useless for everyone except a couple of people who make claims of using them to solo.

These AA's have been universally taken in order to get TS but never used by anyone except the odd person here and there for soloing, which is a waste of AA's imo.

Back then it worked pretty well, but almost everything then was classified as animal so you had options. I haven't played my warden seriously since then though so I'm not sure how useful it would be today. Opening it up to any creature though opens up possibilities and that play style could be viable again. Not sure how useful, but at least viable.

It is a useless change for the majority of druids, no grouping or raiding druid will use these abilities they will only be bought to get TS.

Opening them up to any mob is just a lazy way of saying they are revamping without actually doing any revamping.

I logged on test earlier and tried out these abilities - and I'll agree with the above that they're not going to have any relevence when it comes to heroic and raid game-play. Fortunately, I doubt it will step on the toes of enchanters given I haven't seen one use a mezz spell but a handfull of times this expansion.

Given that they will be locking AA tabs to be level-restricted, the changes in these abilities will be a saving grace in helping young wardens level when they're unable to take the Warden tree for their combat arts. As we know, leveling prior to those combat art AA's is downright awful. The changes should be great for soloing and I look forward to playing around with it.

The only real upset is that they're situated on a mandatory line that raiders must take for Turtoise Shell yet provide no desirability for raids.

It's not like the mez/charm mechanic has been useful since launch...except for soloing reasons. It'll still be the same as before...putting 4 points in each to advance the line. /sigh
