In the new test update notes the Wisdom line is changing.

Bascially, instead of having 2x the advantage over 1/2 the mobs in the game they've made the Wisdom line equivalent to the Str line with a bonus of the endline can have a 4 mob AOE damage proc where you can't cast beneficials while it's up. Reminds me of how Fanticism used to stifle you a long time ago.

I can see why they made the changes:

1) Mobs weren't correctly tagged as undead (tons of work to fix this)

2) Mobs haven't been equally represented like it was earlier in game's life (one more parameter they don't want to deal with)

3) Few Clerics used the Wisdom line in favor of something less effective 100% of the time rather than 2x as effective theoretically 1/2 of the time. ( the community didn't "feel" the 2x effectiveness and want it)

I know I personaly will miss 85K+ Turn undead strikes in TOFS x2, the regular 40K+ 1H/Shield parses in PQ gear in TOFS x2 and popping the groupwide undead immunity and "tanking" X4 mobs solo in TOFS x2.

We did get our wish that "we had another AOE-something" though, now it's a proc at the end of the Wisdom line.

Arguably, they made the right decision for mechanics and overall gameplay but I'll miss the lore-style godhood vs Undead mobs.

If you look at the post in the testing feedback forum on this end line spell it really is useless.

If you use it to try and dps you will have no dps cause nothing you have (aa/item/spell) will proc. so you basically give up half your dps to have a 12k aoe attack every 6 seconds and lose your ability to cure and heal.

I do, however, liek the changes to the first and second aa's of this line. the extra aoe and the 100% divine proc can probably help boost dps a little. not sure weather or not it will be worth to take instead of getting the extra melee attack mod. when I did test copy I was transfered over (like everyone else) with no homes or guild halls so couldn't run the parser on dummy's (and there is like 12 people on in the entire server so finding a guild is kinda hard.

Any way I was hoping they could change it to a DPS mode like you turn it on and off (look at how fanaticism used to toggle) when you need to cure or dps.

Maybe they can make it more useful and lift the buff/heal/proc restriction and make it lower cast speed.

As it is now even if you pre cast all your reactives not a single one will heal you if this spell is turned on. and your 20% flurry aa wont go off and none of the adornments were going off ( that had buffs like profane madness war rune)

So basically, at the moment, this end line aa makes you useless. probably only useful if your inq is on autofollow...

I did not mean my post to be ofensive in any way!

Just sharing my experiances on testcopy.

I really hope they tweek this line a little bit to make it more useful because when I first saw it, it got me a little excited! but after an hour or two testing it with ACT in DoV it did not live up to my hopes.

Any way I hope this line is fixed to be more useful. really has potental to be good.

I think it is best to have everything in one thread: GU61 Cleric AA Changes - Exorcism Line If we stay silent nothing will change and will have to live with the new line for years. Many other "vocal" classes already got dev feedback, but with so few posts by clerics they will think the line is fine as it currently is.

Ok, I've checked what went live via a group of training dummies. Honestly, for what it was meant for (extra AOE juice when needed) the WIS line is pretty beefy. I have a mix of X2 and X4 jewelry, EM plate -shoudlers and chest which are PQ.

1H from TOFS X2 with Sheild:

It looks like cleanse is set at a decent level and the exorcise is almost like an extra fantical devotion.

What isn't suprising is that 1H is ~= 2H especially since I'm forced to have full CM adorns instead of 3 AOE autoattack adorns for the moment.

EM X4 2H instead on the same cluster of dummies:

I noticed that the Act of War AA in the Inq tree went to a flat 10% rate instead of extra proc percent chance but I am kinda shocked that the detriment endline is still at the measly -5% MA. Does anyone use the detriment endline?

Also, it's much easier to get ahold of the reach endline in a DPS spec on the Inq tree without having to blow them in things one might not need as dearly at endgame which is added bonus.

I forgot to add preupdate in the same gear I was trying hard to hit 45K with the group of dummies. Now 60K is cake.

I only got the chance to actually use my pure DPS build once since GU 61 (I'm the main tank healer for a raid guild, so I'm typically in a heal/defense oriented spec for stuff like Shield Ally and Holy Shield), but I was extremely pleased by how potent the Wisdom line was.

Cleanse actually did more damage than Bolt of Power, and Exorcise was 8-11% of my DPS in Kraytoc's EM leading to a zonewide of around 55-60k. I'm sure I could have parsed better because I was still in the main tank group and the tank would make sad faces at me if I let him die, but the 95% potency decrease translated into my heals going down by about a third from being in neither heal stance or dps stance. So it's probably viable for raid inquisitors that aren't going to be healing tanks primarily.

My best single parse that night before I was forced to run home and switch specs because we were moving to HM was 95kish on a boss, still have yet to break 100k

I like it for soloing and will use it for that. The only thing I find anoying is you need to watch your possitioning becuase that aoe will hit things around you that are not in the pull. But thats ok.
