with the uncapping of haste and dps mod it is going to greatly out balance the 2 brawlers. monks sitting at a 500 to 600 hate atm are going to get what 10% flurry or what ever it is. where the bruisers auto attack with not change all that much. i know our CAs hit harder but it is not going to be enough balance the classes. is there any way we can get a dps mod buff or something to make the classes more balanced with the coming changes.

raid last night i was at a 200dps mod and a 196 haste with a dirge and illy yes this was with out temps and stuff up like chi and what not but a monk with a dirge can get to the 200 dps mod too and then be another 300 maybe more haste.

any thoughts from the other brawlers on these changes and how it will effect balance?

With the SO very minute dps gain from hast and dps mod even the classes that can hit 500 haste will not be getting that much dps increase ... atm 500 hast is only 2.87% flurry...

The curint over cap amounts can be found Here.

Yeah probably not much issues right now with those classes that can get huge amounts of certain stats.

Now if rumor is correct and they redo the conversion to be more significant than therre could be some issues.

We don't have anywhere near 500 haste and as others have mentioned, the conversion rates to flurry totally suck.

They are also based on two more years of raiding and gearing up and reforging. Anything over these amounts of overflow are going to really trivialize the content and the playerbase is just insanely greedy on making things easymode.

You have to agree with that. The OP statement made it seem like monks with all our haste could hit 500 with no help. The truth is, it takes 3 other classes and a few temp procs to hit 500 haste.

Can brusiers do it? Probably not, but at least get it right and say 'Monks are hitting 500 haste with procs' ...it makes a difference.

I honestly don't see another few years making much of a difference in how much haste we have, unless they specifically itemize for it. The amount of haste we get hasn't increased much at all in the last few years--probably because so few classes still benefit from it. I am looking forward to being able to get the full benefit from a troub or an illy again though.

Self-buffed in offensive I'm at 150.3 haste. In a raid, that's going to drop down to 97.5 since we have to be in defensive to have avoidance. Regardless of how well our group is stacked, monks really only have a 46.5 point lead over bruisers from Everburning Flame. This will help monks when instancing, since we can now benefit from troubs/illies, but I really doubt that it'll make much difference in raids. In a well-made raid, we're going to be with a dirge/coercer not a troub/illy anyway.

Anyway, there is the new numbers.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

from the conversion post, 400 hast is another 10 flurry from what people are posting they tested with the new numbers. with an illy and troub in raids i hit 200. where you get another 10 flurry? that is great balance if i have ever seen it. so great full i got the higher CA damage that is maybe what 1k more damage if lucky. man would hate to give that up for 10 flurry.
