Enter into the Rime Stronghold zone and you'll see him frozen in ice before you walk through the main doors. He was a storm giant who wanted to conduct experiments on creatures and such, hoping to raise an army to aid the giants themselves. The giants didn't like what he was doing though, so for reasons that are unclear, they banished him to exile, where he moved and created a great labyrinth in the Great Divide to conduct his experiments on, and try to raise an army to get revenge on the giants for kicking him out.

<p>To touch upon cusa.Velkator created the Rime and Krytoc Killingfrost was an experiment of velkator.Krytoc turned on Velkator and imprisoned him. Krytoc is on his own quest for power and is not tied to the giants in kael.</p>
