Two of us have tried to submit a petition in-game and once we click continue, it just says submitting and hangs there until the window is closed...

You will most likely have better luck going through this site then via the game. Usually works for me.

Yeah I had to petition to get my account flagged to transfer a toon and it wouldn't go through in-game, I ended up just petition through firefox, heh.

Honestly the in-game browser hardly even works at all anymore, I think it needs some love..

That's been happening to me for months. To petition I have to come to the forums, click my account, login, go to the in-game support option and petition from there. I've mentioned it on the support forums but no one has ever said why it doesn't work.

I think its something to do with the flash or something not working (old version needed versus new versions installed).

The in-game petition system works for most people, myself included. I would suspect a more browser-related issue. You can try the basic temp internet file/cookie clearing steps.

Click Start > Control Panel > Internet Options > General Tab > Click delete under browsing history > Check Temporary Internet Files / Cookies (You can uncheck the rest) > Click Delete again and Apply/OK.

I'd like to test this out but I don't have a petition to submit... I don't want to waste a GM's time. Is there a way I can submit a petition then cancel/delete it?

What I meant was that the 64-bit version of IE is installed (I don't use IE, I use Google Chrome). I completely uninstalled IE from my system. It still doesn't work in the in-game EQ2 Browser.

Oh, I also wanted to make a note that I am using the Station Launcher version of EQ2, not the streaming client.
