station launcher can't update

<p>Everytime i try to play the game from station launcher I get the error code</p><p>There was a problem moving C:Program Files (x86)Sony Online EntertainmentInstalled GamesEverQuest IIlp_tempEverQuest2.exe_delta_10722_422.patched to C:Program Files (x86)Sony Online EntertainmentInstalled GamesEverQuest IIEverQuest2.exe. Please make sure the game is not running.</p><p>after unsucessfully downloading an update. I am running the station launcher in administrator mode and I have tried with windows xp sp3 compatabilities. It keeps repeating this process. I've tried deleting the Lp_temp folder also which failed to do anything . answers?</p>

<p>Our latest LaunchPad will resolve this for you.  I've linked it below.  Use the full version and direct it to your existing EQII folder (they have the same file structure so you won't have to re-download the entire game).  </p><p>We won't force you to make the transition but the best workaround for that issue I can offer is deleting the LP_temp folder from your existing EQII folder as well as the Everquest2.exe file itself.  This will force the game to re-download a fresh copy which should be free of the issue.</p><p><a href="http://launch.soe.com/eq2/" target="_blank">[EQII] LaunchPad</a></p>

<p>my station launcher wont update either.  i always hit cancel to make it stop.  (its updating itself, not the game.  it updates the game just fine.) </p><p>i dont want the new launcher, its not as nice.  i can connect to my friends network and access other games on the launcher AND it stays open after the game is launched.  none of those are possible with the new launcher.  how can i get the station launcher to quit updating itself?</p>
