Flora Pop-Up in Nektulos

<p>Any ideas why the flora pop-up in Nektulos is so slow? I've not had this issue in any zone with the Flora settings maxed. In Nektulos I can even minimize all the flora settings and still visibly watch all the flora load around me for 10-15 seconds or so.</p><p>I'm running High Quality in every zone with framerates above 40-50. I don't remember this being an issue on older PC's of mine that were less powerful.</p><p>Intel Q9550 3.4ghz</p><p>NVIDIAGTX 470</p><p>4GB RAM DDR2 800MHZ 4-4-4-12</p><p>WIN7 64</p>

<p>I can't really help you with any direct troubleshooting as long as you are overclocked but I will go ahead and verify if I can notice the same thing you do in Nek and make sure it gets reported.</p>

The OC shouldn't be an issue. The other zones seem fine with flora; just something with Nektulos where it all loads slow. I've not had any issues with this PC in EQ2 or other games other than this one instance.</p>

<p>Do you guys with this problem have multisampling on?  I finally got it working tonight and flora started popping in for me as well.</p><p>edit:  wasn't multisampling, turned that back off and it's still popping in like crazy.  On a 130% mount i can actually ride at about the same speed as the flora pops in.  I just came back to the game after almost a year away and i don't remember it being like this when i left the game.</p>

<p>Any word on the pop in?  Tried it on 3 different computers and all three have immense pop in with the flora in almost all zones.  I know the game never used to be like this.  I was hoping it'd be fixed in the last patch but it's still popping in really bad and it drives me nuts.  I could turn off flora but the game looks really bad with out it.</p>
