Test server

<p>I hope that this isn't a dumb question and if it's here already please direct me to the answer.</p><p>I used to be able to log in to EQ2 and choose a server  EU or US.  Now there is no drop down list anymore.  I wanted to set up a test copy so I could go see the new houses but after I log in all I get is the play button.  Did something change and I missed it?  For now I can't even go back to the EU server.</p><p>Any direction would be appreciated. </p>

<p>Are you using our latest LaunchPad?  If so, it is in the Options menu immediately after logging in (before you hit PLAY).</p><p>You would change the region to what you want to connect to.  Test server is only available in the streaming download version of our latest LaunchPad 3 and earlier patch methods like Station Launcher.  The Knowledge Base article on the test server contains the older test server connection walkthrough for Station Launcher.</p><p><a href="http://launch.soe.com/eq2/" target="_blank">[EQII] LaunchPad</a></p>

That and this website in it /fail state of repair are my biggest pet peeves. We want EQ2players back! </p>

We want EQ2players back! </p></blockquote><p>The bigger picture is that we have never replaced any of our previous patchers.  When Station Launcher came out, we still offered support for LP1.  When LP3 came out, we still offerred support for LP2 (Station Launcher).  However, when LP4 comes out, it will entirely replace all previous patchers so we'll be taking them all down.</p>

<p>I have launcher version 4.0.0.429(18 ).   I can now go to my Lauch Pad in lower left hand corner and click on advanced tools and then click Game version.  At the bottom of list,  Test server is there and when you click it, it will start to download/update the test server.  Not sure when it changed, but as of today March 14, 2012 it worked great.  I am running the full download version and not the streaming version if anyone was wondering about it.</p>
