Dark Elf Graphics

<p>My Dark elf graphic was changed when I logged in on 2 characters and the old hair styles and features are not available.  Will this be corrected and if so, how long will it take? </p><p>I'm understanding from others that it's a widespread issue not only affecting me.</p>

<p>I'm having the same problem. I use SOGA models for my dark elves, and after today's patch only the original hair shows on SOGA models -- and they are off-center (front-to-back) such that the braid style sticks beyond the front of the forehead and the back lies inside the head, causing the back of the head to be bald. Very frustrating, when you've learned what a char should look like after 90 levels and ~7 yrs playing that char.</p>

<p>The hair problem is, indeed, wide-spread. I just wanted to chime in and mention that (for my Dark Elf at least) body size versus armor seems to have changed as well. After today's patch pieces of skin are showing through my Dark Elf's chest piece and gloves.</p>

<p>Yes, my appearance is completely out of whack and man... it's disturbing and disappointing!  We're dark elves, we seriously care about these things!</p>

<p>Same problem here.  I've been playing nothing but my three DEs lately and now they're half bald, one with a hairstyle that with the bald thing going on makes it look like she's wearing a propeller hat! <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" /></p><p>This really needs fixed and soon please!  I have no idea what was changed but it's driving me crazy.  I hate playing them when they look like this.</p>

<p>I had to enable show helm and change what my dark elf was wearing so she wasn't running around almost naked and bald i already have an erudite the dark elfs shouldn't be balding and this has only apeared to day after the 8 hour server maintance id show  a screen shot but getting a eq2 crash when attempting to take said screen shot</p>

<p>This is now the second time after an update where DEs have had their hair borked.  I looked like a stinking ram running around Freeport.  Please give me back my spiky hair.  This bald set is ridiculous.</p><p>Which leads to another point:  why would SOE ever remove any hairstyles from the game?  They're not offensive, and it should be as simple as adding more onto what's already there. </p><p>Anyway, after 5 years worth of the same hair, I'd really like it back.  Thanks.</p>

<p>Only thing ive noticed is that you dont need a chest peice equipped to see your shoulder peice anymore... pretty much ruined my Zerker's shirtless look. Now he just looks like Jax from mortal kombat with metal arms.</p>

<p>I did expect a fix in today's downtime or at a minimum a response, even if it was a "we're looking at it". Any update?</p>

<p>I'm willing to bet it was and issue with the CDS, those particular assets are missing or corrupted and need to be added back.</p><p>Last night I put my hood on to try to hide myself... that's sad...</p>
