It would be nice if different color variations were made available to tailors. All they have now are the dresses that are split up to the crotch

If it wasn't for SC would we see any of the stuff we're seeing in game now? I'm thinking about half of it wouldn't of been created without SC. SC pays for extra artists and art development. While it doesn't pay for content development, there is some bleed over into the regular game. There are a few items that appeared in SC or LoN before they appeared in the game, such as circlets. Given time the devs will start using that art in non-sc items. But right now SoE wants to get some cash from items that they know have a huge demand.

Maybe if you didn't want to see it on the marketplace, you shouldn't beg for it?

My finger was already hovering above the buy button .. when I noticed the attunable tag.

Seriously SoE .. either make stuff expensive or no trade, but not both =*(

Edit: To add insult to injury you are even boasting about how THE BOX is heirloom in your announcement. Bad sports!

I just assume everyone is happier if they know these things ahead of time rather than after their purchase.

If someone wants to pay 10 for a kilt 6 months before it drops in a zone go for it. If you want it buy it. If you can wait then do that.

Gaige wrote:

SC only of course.

Surely, people saw this coming. If something is new and cool, it's going on the Marketplace, it's as simple as that. Imagine if the Marketplace had been available back when cloaks first came out. There would have been no tailor recipes or dropped cloaks; they'd have all been $20 each on the marketplace.

Awesome!'. Then I'd look at the marketplace and see yet another heirloom tag and would probably buy the pack as it is .. only to be greeted by the extremely nasty 'this item needs to be attuned before wearing it' popup when trying to wear things after unpacking the box. At this point I'd be a very disgruntled pouting customer and head to the forums to complain about no-trade items on the marketplace and horidly misleading advertisement on the site and the marketplace alike.

Since I'm not an untainted customer but rather used to how things are run I simply skipped to the last part

To make my point clear: The BOX being heirloom means nothing. It's the actual content that is important and this content has a far more restrictive permission than 'heirloom'.

I am sure there will be a dropped/crafted kilt somewhere in the Revamped 20-80 Freeport zone. Have a little patients.

You could look at it this way, before SC and LoN (which both -do- bring money for development into the game), from launch, the only new armor 'models' brought into the game were with DoF and then it was only a couple of new models. Other than that it was only a texture map overlay on an existing model. Since LoN and SC, there have even been new things added to the game as a whole as well as exclusive to SC/LoN. It is highly unlikely those things would have been added to the game if not for the additional development funds.
