I was unable to attend Fan-fair, have there been many Lore-ish tidbits floating around? (Such as more on these 2 returning goddeses?)

I think that anything new would be covered in the existing threads about such subjects, Zab.

Freeport / Neriak relationship will be expanded upon, their will be lore about the Beastlords, dont CLICK CLICK CLICK LOOT through quests, They are looking into bringing out more lore about the races (Trolls were given as an example that have a huge history that has not ben really presented properly in game).

Infact, with the new Freeport, they will rework some of the race based quests to give out more lore about the races.

I had to ask Vhalen about them just because of what little there was to be found even in the original game.

After sitting at some panels I think that after the Freeport revamp and all the race only quests that will be put in that the lore will take a huge leap forward

I wonder how they will handle lore quest for those who have betrayed, perhaps have a Member of said race in the opposite alignment town for said quests?

Or will they be unable to do it?

I know that those that betray do not follow the precepts of their own culture, but I also imagine there are bits and pieces they would like to keep.

They said at fanfaire that betrayal has "its own story", so the good-aligned races like dwarf, fae, froglok, etc. will not have any racial quests until Qeynos comes out.

Also, I get the feeling that if you're a neutral race who happens to be good-aligned, you probably won't be able to run the quests either.

The Troll vs Froglok story which explains how the Frogloks came to be is always a good one.

Also, their is the rise of Ykesha and all of the Gromzok stone information. I'm pretty sure the Moors of Ykesha expantion has some Troll information.'

You know who else has a good history? Gnomes. With Meldrath, the slaying of that Dragon in Steamfont, The Mechanization/Matrixization of Ak'Anon.. their are alot of stories that have not been told with them.

Gnomes were another race we discussed internally, too - there's a bunch of stuff out there, it's just rarely tied together and touched on.

I'm hoping to be able to put together some good "OMG my race is rad because of THIS!" kind of quests and such for each race in Freeport. I want players to be proud of who they are from a lore standpoint, not just "playing a ratonga because they are good wizzies". Nothing wrong with that, but as an RPer myself, I want a little more meat.

My (insert all character classes here) is a Human because Ratonga are easy to kill and Humans are superior.

I for one would love to find out more about Trolls, Ogres, Iksar, Arasi, Sarnak and Teir'Dal who live in Qeynos.

I do remember the Good Troll mentioned in the Froglok Racial Quest, also what does that Ogre outside the Mage tower do when he is not being a Demo-piece?

According to some quest in the Peat Bog, even Qeynos ogres can't resist eating Halflings. Also, the dwarves, as I remember right, hate the ogres as much as the Koada'Dal hate the Teir'Dal. Sarnak, well, they're more believable, as Gorowyn is technically neutral. Pretty much, there's not an NPC in Qeynos that doesn't make derogatory comments to members of the evil races, same for good races in Freeport.

The best example I can think of (At least for a good race in Freeport) is what this half-elf says: "I've never met a dwarf before. Is it true they're stupid?"

Also, Representative Klen'Thall says this constantly: "Teir'Dal, in Qeynos? The Koada'Dal will not stand for this!"
