Error Code: 1015

<p>Im getting Error Code: 1015 at the log in screen and now cant play.</p>

<p>I do not see any server logging for your connection attempt.  You may have firewall software or a similar network device present.  Please make sure Windows Firewall and any security suite or antivirus software has been disabled/properly configured to exclude the Everquest2.exe file and the entire EQII game folder.</p><p>If this persists we have network tests that we can go through.  I do recommend contacting our support team directly.</p>

<p>Im getting that error as well. I use windows xp and have been able to log on as normal for years. This just happened.</p>

<p><div><p>Give this a shot. </p><p>Open a command prompt as an admin by clicking Start > Programs > Accessories > Right-click Command Prompt and select Run as Admin.</p><p>Once the console is open, type IPCONFIG /flushdns and hit enter.  </p><p>Make sure any previously set exceptions in firewalls and antivirus are completely removed and re-added or disable the services altogether and try again.</p></div></p>

<p>It didnt work. Im downloading the Station Launcher now which should take up the rest of the evening.</p>

<p>None of these work!</p><p>Ive tried downloading both the full version and the streaming version. Each time it brings me to the window just after I log in, it begins initializing then I get the error 1015 and told unable to play in the green window.Do I have to completely uninstall EQ2 and then redo this????</p><p>Starting to get really frustrated now.</p>
