Error code: 1001 Unable to get game information, an error occured when trying to access everquest 2

<p>Please help this is my only day off and I cant seem to log into Eq2.  I'm playing on a brand new laptop asus i7.  I have played eq2 a couple times already on this comp I was really excited about playing today but i keep getting stuck at the log in screen with error 1001.  I cant seem to trouble shoot this.  Its been a few weeks since Ive played on this laptop and there have been a couple patches since then I'm sure.  Not sure what to do, any suggestions?</p>

<p>Disregard the post, it works now a couple hours later.  That was odd, hope no one else has that problem.  Was very irritating and an big inconvenience.</p>

<p>I apologize for the inconvenience but am not aware of anything on our end that may have caused it.  1001 is typically security related but I would need more information from you to pinpoint what the culprit was.</p>
