Everquest wont load (cant even get into the login screen) pls help

Not sure what happened but when I click the EQII icon which was installed on my desk top from the start, the same screen as it always was pops up, which is the Everquest II logo in the black box. BUT the only problem is it just stays at that screen.</p><p>I CANT get to the log in screen even it just stays at that screen for FOREVER..</p><p>Can anyone help please??</p></span></p>

<p>When it was working, had you set any exceptions in your Firewall or Antivirus software?  Updates to Windows and even our game client can undo these exceptions.  Double check them just incase.</p><p>However the majority of these issues are resolved by updating your Flash Player.  I am not saying that this is the cause of your issues or this will resolve it, but it is the most successful resolution so let's give it a shot as well.</p><p><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA;">Flash: <a href="http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player_ax.exe" target="_blank">http://fpdownload.adobe.com/get/fla...h_player_ax.exe</a></span></p>

<p>I Didnt ajust my fire wall.... anitvirus.... but i windows went through all its random auto updates..... and what do i need to look for in my firewall settings (downloading  flash now)</p>

<p>I would go ahead and simply disable the firewall and any antivirus software you have running altogether.  Make sure the flash update installs correctly, so no running browsers or the launchpad while it does it.</p><p>You can also run a repair install on the LaunchPad with the version you are using.</p><p><a href="http://launch.soe.com/eq2/" target="_blank">[EQII] LaunchPad</a></p>
