i hate being forced to pve in order to get gear for pvpyou can have them award a bit less faction, depending on the typical time spent in the specific BG, i dont carejust dont force us to play Tundra in order to get gear, it is unreasonable that 75% of BGs are pointlessdidnt notice <a href="http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/posts/list.m?topic_id=501971" target="_blank">this </a>before i posted, sry.. however it sais it all, c'mon SOE - there are a million threads about this

Honestly, I don't understand why SOE believes that people will only like playing 1 BG and not care about the others. It's time to make every BG give faction. Not only will this help BGs spawn faster, but it will avoid the stupid 16v3 or 1v3 tundra matches that occasionally occur. This happens because the matchmaking system is flawed, as it constantly tries to dump people into Frozen Tundra even if other bg matches (especially gears or ganak) are open.Your idea is great and makes sense. Smuggler's den requires the most work (imo) and has the most people so it should give the most faction. However, if soe still wants to stand with their logic that "if you want the new gear, do the new bg," then they should just have Frozen Tundra give the most faction and the other bgs give significantly less faction. If it comes down to this, I wouldn't be pleased, but I wouldn't be frustrated either because at least all BGs will give faction.(If soe is stubborn.... Something like this)W/LFrozen Tundra 225/75Smuggler's Den 175/65Ganak 150/55Gears 125/45

remove faction completely. no one missed it before tundra came out and no one demanded it and the system still worked.

To be fair to the guy, thats been almost a resounding success, probably only about 20 people tops left in battlegrounds now.

What I struggle to comprehend is how they have failed to address this obvious gaping flaw in the 6 weeks + since tundra went live.Even if they GENUINELY did have more pressing issues to address for the entirety of that time, would it really have been that hard to just spend an hour or two putting faction on tundra the other BGs and then go back to whatever is so omgwtf important that it has a higher priority?This just smacks of a relentless obstinacy to accept that the way faction has been implemented was a monumental mistake.

What about the bugs with queueing as a group and the whole group doesn't queue? or people being placed on the white team in tundra? or 90s getting into 30s bgs? or any of the other bugs that have been happening with bgs recently. When will those be fixed?

At least it's a start. Now once the biggest problems get fixed we can actually HAVE some Battlegrounds again on Valor.
