getting closer to KoS's end of claymore quest series, but facing tough calls.

<p>my paladin been wanting to finish this for many years, but forcing to get quests greyed out due to not finding any decent groups or any interests.</p><p>having some decent gears from DoV.</p><p>anyway, i am just 2 quests away to complete this claymore quest, had to stop at deathtoll, now needing other bloods from other dragons to wrap up.</p><p>i look up eq2zam, and saw i have very limited choice.</p><p>there about 6 or 7 rewards but only pick 1, but i like 2 i want, Claymore or Qeynos' Guard (shield).</p><p>i am aware of claymore is 2-hander weapon, but Qeynos' Guard shield look cool, either for appearances or wishing for turning into house item.</p><p>guys, (dev team) is there another way for the shield, like from an new update KoS quest series? or adding on faction merchants?</p><p>anyway, that is most terrible and hardest choice to make a pick when the quest are finished, not very nice, devs...</p>

<p>I'm on the same step and having the same problem. I want both the claymore and the shield as appearance items.</p><p>I'm hoping you can buy the second one on the shady swashbuckler but am not sure if that is possible.</p>

<p>Whichever you choose, is the one you get. I went for queynos shield back in KoS, but I regret it today, since there are no 2h weapons coming close to the kewl look of the queynos claymore..</p><p>Go with the claymore, and get a station cash or LoN shield for your 1h/shield appearance..</p>

<p>there none of that stuffs in LoN loot cards, or even in SC marketplace.</p><p>wanted to ask devs if those will be available for new side quests, or getting into LoN or SC as you said, may not be same ones, maybe as "Ornamental" as appearance or able transfer into house item.</p>

<p>get the shield. personally I think mith marrs greatsword from SoL is better looking then the claymore weapon.</p>

<p>Swooooooord... I never bothered finishing the claymore quest... Just not much of a quester.</p><p>But then when I was standing around Freeport a few months ago someone ran by my with this awesome sword on his back. I was like "[Removed for Content] is that!" and went over to inspect him... lo it was the Qeynos Claymore...</p><p>I turned to my wife and said, "Alright honey we need to finish that quest now"</p>

<p>I had to mull over that choice for my paladin as well.  In the end I opted for the Qeynos Guard because it looks pretty spiffy with the myth and I had Marr's Greatsword for 2H appearance.</p><p>Still, I agree with the OP, it sure would be great to have both somehow, as both wearable and house items.  there's nothing else in the game that comes close to strapping that Claymore on your back, and now that we have a doppelganger sword for the house, a matching shield would be fantastic.  I know the shield doesn't have any particular lore significance (that we know of, hint hint, opportunity) compared to the Claymore, but again there's nothing else like it in the game and it seems such a waste not to milk that sucker for all it's worth.</p>

<p>Since this is old fluff content a good idea would be to grant all the rewards to the player.</p><p>Running the claymore serie probably take more time than 1-90 with 100aas, so an uber reward would be welcome.</p>
