My paladin is currently around 54 and Aas are getting very slow to come (he is around 155-160).

To get an idea (and to get TT quest) i went from 100% combat xp conversion to 50% when i was 53.00 after killig droarg masses for 20mn i was 54 and made 20% of an AA. So currently 1 AA= 5 levels. So it seems to me that grinding AAs beyond 150-160 at 50-55 is not a really good idea.

I wonder if i should unlock till may 70 and then stop again and do ROK quest lines.

The curve just continues to get steeper and steeper until 250 and then it plateaus. You're in pretty good shape. But yeah, I'd probably unlock and push into RoK. In fact my goal would be L85 so that you can start working on the PQ gear. At that point, you might consider going back to grinding to polish off your AAs.

Personally I don't like to grind AAs after 200 unless it's a bonus weekend. With a potion, you'd get +100% on the back-end for AAs. And with those weekends, it's another +100% bonus on the back-end. So you can load up the front-end all you want (and you should). But if it's not a bonus weekend, it's almost twice as slow (+200% AA vs +100% AA).

W T H is with people and this give-me attitude? Does no one appreciate accomplishments any more or is everyone in this easy-street frame of mind these days? What happened to people that got their rocks off on challenging games?

Quest and Disco xp could not be turned off and any achivement you got before 70 with 100aas were simply lost.

I never asked for the current easy mode playstyle, but since it is here i m just trying to get my paladin at 90 with 250+ aas. Since he will be my fourth level 90 i m not really interesting in redoing content that i know very well. I did this content 3-4 years ago when this content was making sense. Doing it today when it has been trivialised (aas, uber mc gear, stat consoildation) is not interesting.

I may post later a vdeo showing how ridiculous the game had become, my paladin can pull 20 mobs where my warden (3 years ago) would try to get only 2, would get a challenging fight with 3-4 and would evac at 6.
