I'm getting a similar crash to desktop and error message to the one found in this post, though mine is slightly different:

I am currently using Win7x64 and the Streaming Client Version: App: 443 Shell: 3.0.0.223 Plug-in: 153

Since installing the full version of worked in the linked case, I tried repairing my install with a new download of the Streaming Client to no avail. I then tried to do a reinstall of the streaming client, again with no luck. The thing that really strikes me, OUCH!, is that in both our cases, the error is looking for files on the E: drive. I don't know about the other individual, but I have no EQ files located on my E: drive. It would seem to me that today's patch included someone's personalized EQ install settings and implanted them into our own installs. While I could probably fix this by doing a full install of the game using the other launcher, I would rather not.

Yep, happened to me after todays patch as well.

Looks like someone violated one of the programmers 10 commandments and hard coded a path... Might be able to slip in a fix for this in the AM patch but probably not.

The issue has already been identified and Rothgar has said a fix is on it's way. It just missed the last hotfix but it's coming.

Kind of bumping this since I have this issue as well. I am also on the streaming client as an aside.

I did see some speculation in another thread that it was due to ATI/Radeon cards, but I'm using Nvidia GTX 580's in SLI so that can't be it. (Yes I know SLI doesn't do much for this game, but I do play other games too. ).

Same here - also in a new full installation of the non-streaming version. Tiff or JPEG doesn't matter, apparently it crashes before writing anything to disk.

I'm getting this error, too. Was this fix mentioned put in yet since this thread is a couple weeks old? I've not taken any screenshots since mid-June probably, but was going to earlier tonight and noticed this was happening. My husband is also having the same problem. Different machines, different video cards (same brand, but different models), he uses Launcher 3 (not the streaming) and I have both Launcher 3 and Station Launcher.

Is anyone receiving this crash on Shader 1? We are aware of the screenshot issue with Shader 3 and Rothgar has acknowledged the issue and says a fix is prepared. Just a matter of when we can get it pushed out in a hotfix.

Haven't seen this on Shader 1 yet, Rothgar might not be aware if that's the case or you might be having a separate problem than what I was referring to.

Having this all reported, can't reproduce the Shader 1 crashing though. Can you folks open support tickets with DXDIAG/MSINFO files for tracking?

We have another discussion on this going on in the gen tech forum. Our developer GermInUSA has been doing a great deal of work resolving these issues for us. We do hope to have a fix pushed out as soon as possible.

Other thread on this topic:

http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/...topic_id=502397

This may sound silly but for me and one other guildie, simply renaming the existing screenshot folder to something else and creating a new one fixed this.
