I've been playing for a while now, mix and mashing different support classes.(Ill, Dirge, Inq(as support heal/melee) Mnk(as support melee)

I have a few questions I hope someone with experience can answer.

*Can an atk speed buff become obsolete due to ppl being maxed?

*Again with atk speed: Say I have a 6.0s weapon, I'm assuming even with atk speed+ it will never reach 1.0s right?

*Is there a class that excels at buffing multi atk (self or group)?

*Dirge I'm thinking here but looking for input.

Attack speed/haste caps at 200 mod, which is 120%

The most you can lower the delay of a 6s weapon is by 120% or get it down to I think 2.5 delay

Dirge buffs the group for up to 15% ma with the right AAs and a single target for 15%

Illy buffs the group for 10% ma and a single target for 25%

Troub buffs the group for 10% ma through AAs

Ty for the break down.

Gives me a good idea. I guess Dirge is the way to go. (I always thought the dirge had inc. atk speed songs... must have been in the early day)

Dirge has a castable haste abilty, Cacaphony of Blades, which also procs damage with every hit. With red adorn or rygor boots it's up for 17s every 30, without it's 17s every minute.

Troub and illy can give haste to the group. Monk has I think a rw buff for haste/spell haste.

But you asked specifically if there was a class specializing in ma so that's what I broke down.

Actually, the king of self multi-attack, at least in early levels, is the Inquisitor. I have 92% self multi attack on my L64 Inquisitor. It's all in the AA. 65 AA will get you close to that, but you need 125 to get to the Yaulp improvement that gets you all the way there.

Inquisitors buff attack speed and DPS.

Banditman, very good point.

I may dust him off also.

(The thing I dislike about playing my Inq is trying to pass off as a low level healer and mid_to_good level dmg dealer in groups and raids=)

Thank you for puttin in your input. It all helps.

At the end game, Inquisitors are the go to healers for raids. They DPS as well as any of the other healers and Steadfast combined with their Mythical makes them incredibly powerful healers.

If an Inquisitor is having trouble healing, it's a result of the player behind the keyboard, not the class.

You can't haste 6.0 weapons dual weilded down to 2.5 seconds, theres an attack speed penalty for dual weilding of 33% so you start at just about 8 sec delay and work down from there to the 125% cap.

I don't think so. I believe the Zerk mythical is AE Auto Attack, not Multi Attack.

Banditman wrote:

I don't think so. I believe the Zerk mythical is AE Auto Attack, not Multi Attack.

That's the more famous one. We actually have 2 mythical. The other one is a proc that adds threats, does damage, increases MA, and increases crit chance. I think it is like 10% MA, not much.

The +24 raid wide MA is not from the mythical, it is from the recent change to one of the zerker normal buff.

I have a second account with a dirge. So between my zerker and my dirge, I get +24+10+15+15 = 64MA in buff.
