Windows 7 64bit

Asus Sabretooth P67, 2nd gen I5 2500k

XFX 6850 XXX

SSD boot

Basically a new rig that has offered no problems for 8 weeks. Trying to download the trial, the launcher shuts down. I've gotten as high as about 6.3 gigs then I get a 1004 error every time I try to resume the download. I also get the error that flash isn't up to date (but it is).

I have no real desire to sit here for hours trying to figure out what the problem is. I know it's not my system because I built it (and I do excellent work) and because I have about 12 games installed right now and they all run without a hitch, MMO's and offline games alike. I'll check here tomorrow and hopefully someone will have an answer.

As I recall there is some weirdness with the launcher and windows 7. You might find better answers on the support forums.

I very recently downloaded that launcher & the game on an old computer with XP with no issues and also on a vista computer with no issues.

Finally got the whole game to install with the streaming version, but crashes are common. I've made it into the game, but can't see NPC's anywhere, just the text they're talking about. Then I crash.

Edit: OK, now the green "play" button on the launcher saying "playing..." and isn't clickable.

As much as I'd like to play a new game for awhile, if the rest of it is as buggy as getting it to run...

Can you post your DXDIAG information? top 3 sections, system/display/sound devices. If you have an opened support ticket, I could use the incident number and make sure you attach your MSINFO file to it as well. Open the ticket if you haven't already
