I was a SA subscriber for a long while, but switched out last year to just the normal sub here so I could get a multi month sub (and the goodies that go with it).My question is, do those who go multi month with the new SA sub get the goodies for multi month subs for the games that are included?

I was looking forward to this sniff, I was going to get it and get the rest of my pets remade in SWG and level them up,but that's a bit pointless now, shame really, is a good deal, but I was only reallly interested in the one game apart from EQ2. Never mind.

Maybe if they did, you could return him back to his $OE stable. Oh wait, you laid him to rest. Well, scratch that idea then. At least he's no longer suffering.

Umm that set of screenshots say the EXACT same thing. The first one says it increased the contribution you make by 10%, so you gave teh guild 10% and you now give them 10% more of that 10%, ie 11%. the seond screenshot simply reflects that change better in the wording. It is the same token, you simply assumed the first description gave you 20% not 11%. When I first saw that token on LON, I saw it as 11% and decided it was not worth the the stats loss in the slot to wear it for 1%. I never once assumed it was 20%.

You are claiming bait and switch, which was not the case, it was just a poor description and you're assumption of that description being wrong. I doubt you called SOE and complained, had you done so in a timely manner they would have refunded the item and removed it from you're account.

Even if you bought multiple LoN packs from SOE, you didn't pay $100 to SOE for that specific card, you bought packs for a -chance- at a obtaining one of several cards. If you paid $100 for that specific card, it was not to SOE, the 'markup' was by a 3rd party. It's rather like if you buy a pair of shoes at one store for $100 that the store bought from another store or person or wholesaler for $10. You're not buying it from the original store/person/wholesaler, you're buying it from the store where you paid the money.As for math, I'm pretty sure you don't understand that either. 10% of 10 = 1. The original description did not say "an additional 10%" (which would have been a total of 20%). But it was something which some players could mis-interpret (10% more) so they clarified it (which is NOT a bait and switch). When you see a bottle of shampoo in store with a label of "Now 10% More" do you assume that the bottle now has double the amount of hair washy goodness or do you think it would be 10% of the original liquid measure added to the bottle?

If the bottle is the status earned and you normally give 10% and now you are told you can give 10% more, then that does equal a total of 20%.To me that indeed is the more reasonable meaning. For the total to be 11%, I would have expected it to say 1% more. That said, it's possible that SOE realized the ambiguity in what they specified and that is why it was reworded. I think fraud implies intent, and I really don't think SOE intended to deceive.

Those with the extra slots because of their current Station acct will be able to keep theirs. But as you also stated its only 10 dollars i believe for each extra character you want, and thats not accounting for double station cash times etc.

I just want to thank Sony .... Hubby and I had four accounts and have been with you since EQ1 beta ... so we've given you lots and lots of our money ... course we have had beaucoup fun and met many wonderful people which made it worth every penny ....not long ago I had to cancel a regular acct and downsize one of our station accounts to a regular one ...You have made two customers very very happy ....Thank you again <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" />Nytetyme aka Wynd etc etc on Oasis <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" />Ooo .... when I downgraded the one account ... You are not losing money or slots in the long run, you are actually saving more money by ALOT even if you had to rebuy those extra slots for SC. Not paying for the Pass now that you lose a few slots, you are actually shooting yourself in the foot, not SOE. You now save $180 a year with the Access Pass, extra slots cost $10, even if you bought the extra 4 slots, its only $40 of that savings and you still saved $140, and the slots are now on the account forever regardless of the subscription level you have.

You posted in agreement with me, I said the posters claims were unfounded since I understood the meaning and others did also. So all you did was say the same thing I said. And yes, the desription was a poor one, if it was not, SOE would not have changed it.

ty for answering one of my questions <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" />. so that means that i have 5 extra character slots when they were on sale for 700 SC. (i had plans on downgrading to just EQ2.) wonder if that means that i will have 19 slots forever now? (i have 14 characters and bought 5 slots when they were on sale.) OR if i switch to EQ2 only, will i then have 14 slots?omg .. 19 slots ... so many slots ... must make more characters .... lolp.s. i tried to check out my sub options but i get an error.

And no, actually I'm not doing anything to myself. What's the incentive to pay for all access or anything of the sort if you don't plan to play more than one of the games more than just occasionally. I'll just switch out games every month or something instead and pay even less than anything you're suggesting. Having extra slots and/or any other free items was the thing that pushed many people over from just thinking Station might be convenient sometimes, to actually activating it.

a rather good decision on the part of soe....- its all about subscription retention.at the old rate i paid $30 a month for access to all the games soe had ... which one of them was brought down and another otw.... mxo and swg.new games are surely in the works, i hear rumors of eqiii and psii ... but see no announcements of pre-beta forums as yet.so, now if i subscribe to a game at a standard rate outside the all access umbrella, from, say (/gasp), another game company......the total for all access + their sub is $20 + $15 which is only $5 more per month than i had been paying for all access, it doesn't increase my monthly game budget by much...- it makes it affordable to keep all access and be able to play another game too...- i would consider getting players talking as much as possible about future soe titles, the eqii forums originally opened over a year before its launch, btw... - if there isnt one a trial should be offered to at least all access subs to try dcu.- when closed beta or even earlier development phases of new titles come around, i would encourage mgmt to utillize the cache of loyalists they have in their all access subscriber base, it should be as good as wrote that all access subs get beta invites and free trials of any title soe intends on putting live....in short, lowering the price is good for gaming, good to retain a subscriber base that is apt to wander while the next gen titles are being developed, access to multiple games is a great deal for a lot of reasons i had posted about before...<a href="http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/posts/list.m?topic_id=352682">http://forums.station.sony.com/eq2/...topic_id=352682</a>/camps and waits for eqiii forum to spawn.edit> btw, the same day soe offered this reduction in all access sub pricing ... rift offered to upgrade to full game status from its trial version for $5.... which teaches the lesson, it isn't about the revenue generated by the initial sale of a title (its important but not the enchalada (sp?)) ... its all about the recurring sub revenue ... and mmmorpgs are only good if they have a playerbase.edit2> thx for letting me post again, btw ... /waves @ smed.

I never once assumed it was 20%.</blockquote>Actually given that status contributed is 10% of that which you earn personally, you can also argue that the item should be giving 10% based on the personal status, which therefore -would- translate to a total 20% contributed to guild.That said, I think SoE cleared the matter up quick enough and anybody unhappy at the time of the clarification should have contacted Support and argued for a refund.

Is anyone else having a problem trying to change their account thru the gamepass option ??I was able to purchase the year option for my account but have tried and tried since then to do so on hubby's acct .Keeps saying there is an error ...
