Launchpad 3 Issue / Feature

<p>I have noticed when using launchpad v3 that my username doesn't always save like it did with the original launchpad or the station launcher.  When this happens the eula comes up again and has to be accepted.  It doesn't always happen though.  Is this by design, or a bug or feature?  Also, I have noticed the patch notes aren't displayed like the previous two versions.  Why is this?  It is more useful to display them in the launcher than having to come to the forums every time there is a patch. </p>

<p>Do you have your browser set to clear cookies/temporary internet files or form data?  Manually clearing it would do it as well.</p><p>Our LaunchPad is a web browser that will adhere to your internet options set in control panel or with your default web browser.</p>

<p>This has been happening to me on and off since I got the LPv3 too.</p><p>I have nothing that auto clears cookies, form data or anything of the sort.</p><p>It is sporradic, and really isn't happening enough to be annoying.</p><p>It could be something that is flagged that when the LP is updated it is resetting a reg key, ini setting or whatever is used to indicate that you have accepted the EULA.</p>

<p>The 'flag' you are referring to is done in the form of form data and cookies.</p>

<p>I figured as much, reading again I guess it may have been a little vague.</p><p>I was hinting that the form element, key name etc migh have a reference of some kind to the LP versioning that was 'unlinking' when a new build was released.</p><p>Like I said it isn't happening enough to be annoying (to me at least), I haven't heard it mentioned by anyone else until now.</p><p>Joshua you have been on a tear you had the last post in the top half of recent posts a few minutes ago. <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></p>
