Cloud of Bats and Reveal Inner Demon

<p>With the new patch, ground mounts increased almost x2. So I was wondering if Cloud of Bats ability for freebloods would be changed as well? Was one of the reasons I got a freeblood was so I didnt have to use other mounts, which was awesome to my play style.</p><p>Reveal Inner Demon is still broken, nothing happens when I click my ability nor can I do a barber shop apearence change to change it. I even used my Verteran Mirror to change my apperance because when I changed my character from arasai it was defaulted into the inner demon form indeffiantly. I'v tested it with multiple characters, all broken.</p>

<p>Was just about to make this exact same topic. Cloud of bats cost money, so you know, fix it please. I'm guessing it was just oversight, or hoping so.</p>

<p>The issue with cloud of bats, as I see it, is that it can be upgraded to become a flying mount once you reach sufficient level. So, to give it ground speed equal to that of other ground mounts, and then -- on top of that -- add flying to it, would cause a lot of people to feel cheated, since no other mount in game (at this time anyway) can have both ground and air speeds high.</p><p>Now, once you upgrade cloud of bats to a flying mount it gains the same air speed as other flying mounts, so arguably it's working as intended.</p><p>On the other hand, perhaps they could improve its ground speed for those who have not completed the quest to turn it into a flying mount but, once that quest is complete, then replace it with the current version... Though I think that could potentially cause some confusion, especially if someone didn't realize that once the quest was complete the ground speed would suffer.</p><p>D.</p><p>PS: As for Reveal Inner Demon I fully agree... It's broken, has been broken for quite some time. Fix please.</p>

<p>Cloud of bats ground speed needs to be increased to match other ground mount speeds.</p><p>why not make cloud of bats strictly a ground mount(and allow it to be hidable) then at 86(or whatever level the quest is) let the quest reward and "upgraded" version that lowers the ground speed but adds flight. That way each person could have the choice of cloud of bats (ground) or cloud of bats (ground/air) since you dont HAVE to do the quest but can still do the other quest that give the griph mount and flying ablility</p><p>this mount cost more than others mounts in the marketplace and deserves to be netter than it is..</p>

<p>bought the entire freeblood bundle and for what??</p><p> all kinds of glitches and now "sub-par" mount any way you cut it.   i don't understand why an item purchased from SC requires a quest in the first place.   the freeblood bundle was suppose to be a velious quality but instead is now eclipsed by other velious flying mounts.</p>

<p>ya something should be done, I spent 5900 station cash on the freeblood character/items/race change to allow my character to become a freeblood. Though I cant even access the reveal inner demon, the cloud of bats is slower than any ground mount. Its slower than pegasus on the ground, and its slower in the air than the leapers/gliders. Yet none of those mounts cost nearly anything close to what a freeblood cost. I think I might call support and request a refund.</p>

<p>bump</p><p> i paid just as much for my "swarm of bats" mount as i did for my gryphon mount yet..  my gryphon mount is faster and does not require a complicated quest. </p><p> that's not how you treat custumers if you want to have repeat custumers.  i want to know that if i get something from SC today it won't be broken a few months later.</p><p>  you guys need to seriously address these issues, we're feeling brushed off here.</p>

<p>Not related at all to the concerns listed here as I too thought it was odd that the cloud of bats was so slow, but can you use a regular mount and the use COB in the appearance slot? Debating getting one for my Freeblood.</p>

<p>i'm so annoyed at paying for the race THEN the cloud of bats , to find out they only get 65% running speed and 150% and it take 5 days to complete while if you are an arasia/fae you get this upgrade free aswell as the same specs yet they get srucked 50%... last time i'll buy something like that , how is it that people buy this stuff with money and other people get better stuff without paying ?!</p>

<p>Please fix inner demon.  Please.  It was originally advertised by a dev that you could use a "shave and a haircut" while in demon form to customize your inner demon's look.  It worked perfectly, and I used this to look very different (and much more demonic) while in demon form.  Now not only can I not change it with the shave and a haircut, the appearance I originally changed it to has reverted to looking like my normal appearance except with a wrinkly face.  Someone said that it would be fixed in GU61 but it's been quite a while since then and it's still broken (I just tested it 2 minutes ago).</p><p>Cloud of bats also really needs to be in line with the other mounts in terms of run speed and fly speed.  The gryphon you get for free from the DOV quest is 75% ground speed, while the bats are only 65% ground speed.  Since the other mounts are faster, have slow fall, and have stat boosts on them, these days I only use the bats for appearance inside dungeons.  It would be a lot better if we could put the vampire bats in the appearance slot, but it's listed as an ability.</p><p>A post acknowledging that these are broken and an approximate fix date would be very much appreciated, as these items cost SC and have been broken for months now, especially the demon form.</p>
