I'm using eq2 launchpad, the not streaming one. Sometimes it works good sometimes it shows me the hack message when sony got hacked and can't proceed. I usually run everquest2.exe and play. The problem comes when the game gets updated and must reboot and try again the launcher until it works. Haven't found anything on it, what can I do?

Thanks in advance

First look for your EverQuest II directory. You can find the default directory in (for Windows XP): C:Program FilesSonyEverQuest II (for Windows Vista/7): C:Program DataSony Online EntertainmentInstalled GamesEverQuest II2. Click on MY COMPUTER and then proceed into local disk C:3. Navigate your way to the default directory, or your chosen installation directory.4. Next look for any files explained above and delete them. 5. Afterwards, please start EverQuest II to have these files re-downloaded by the patcher. If deleting these files does not resolve your issue, you can restore your backed up files and folders and retain your hotkeys, contact lists, and display settings.

Hi

I had the very same issue : getting hack notice pretty often when using launchpad (This, before AND after unsintalling and reinstalling the whole game about 5 days ago) and I had reverted to using the everquest2.exe to launch the game.

The trouble is, after today's patch, I'm getting a message saying (of course, the game was just patched I get that much) my client version isn't the good one. And I keep getting the hack message when trying to use launchpad...basically I'm stuck tryin to use it every now and then and hoping/waiting for launchpad to be working again, which is very hazardous to say the least.

Please fix this issue, it's really a pain.
