Ok so . As it stands prismatic chaos runs out based on duration and ticks of the spell what ever occurs first , I would like to see the duration removed , if it simply expired on the spell tick , and used the same recast timers , would be less aggravating than casting it a dozen times on a tank waiting for him to pull a target .

Let's get some people behind this .

I just cast it when the tank starts moving towards his target and IMO it should keep the timer.

You missed the whole point of my post , keeping the timer is not a problem, as I previously said the spell ticks off befor the timer , the only way it wouldn't expire before the duration is if ur target was not fighting . so back to my original idea which you missed , why not just make it based on spell ticks that way when we cast it , and our tank decided to stop pulling or slack off how ever you Wana look at it , our spell wouldn't expire . With our cast speed and reuse speed keeping this spell up shouldn't be a problem for any . Just extra work .

I'm not getting your post at all - this spell is just fine the way it is. It has two components: A number of procs and a time and bot are valid. You cast it in situations where actually someone is fighting and not just on someone and forget it and whenever he starts fighting he can use the spell. And the proc number is there to show that it is a limited spell boost. It's the same as Theorems with the difference that you cast it on a friendly group member.

Awesome idea. I could then cast Prismatic on every single raid member an hour or 2 before the raid, and my parse would be really high on that first fight.

The change you're requesting is completely outside the box for the way any of the reactives in game work. A change like this would make PC completely over powered and would probably get it nerfed because, as the above poster pointed out, you can put PC on multiple people. I quite enjoy being able to time PC on pulls so that way I can get it on two people when the mob gets to the group/raid for the extra burst damage at the beginning of a fight. As someone else already said, it's fine the way it is and I would suggest you work on your timing and use of it a little more.

Also, rethink your target for PC. You mentioned Tank. I usually do Tank on pull and then start PC on one of the melee quick hitting scouts just before the mob gets to us. Then just keep casting it on the scout till the mob is dead. This has always netted better results for me as usually scouts hit the mobs more quickly, from my experience, and you're able to get all the triggers used up faster.
