Collapsible Fishing Pole

<p>Is this thing working after the harvest changes? It does not give any buff unlike the WW harvest kit so I do not see ANY effect. Even if I remove every other harvest item buff there is nothing the pole adds.</p>

<p>if I remember correctly that pole is used to collect a certain fish that you can't get any other way than to have that pole in your backpack. in terms of buff I do not think it adds anything.</p>

<p>yeah one website says it is for magma rock fishes but the pole itself just says it reduces the time for fishing only - it's the same like a harvest kit with the exception that it only applies to fishes. that's at least what the explanation says:•Applies Exceptional Fishing Technique when Activated.     •Reduces the harvest time for fishing by 2.5 seconds.And that is the text for the compact sumac harvesting kit (which gives a buff!):•Applies Exceptional Harvesting Technique when Activated.     •Reduces the harvest time for fishing, foresting, gathering, mining, and trapping by 2.5 seconds</p>

<p>The description text spoke about "being able to use it in heated areas" or something like that? At least it does in French.</p>

<p>Well it says in the description:"This sturdy metal fishing pole looks as if it could withstand great temperatures to catch unusually dangerous fish". But why does the effect say nothing about something like "must be in xyz zone" or whatever. The effect is the same as for the kit.</p>

<p>I believe when I asked back when I first got that recipe someone told me you use it to fish in the magma in Jarsath Wastes. I honestly haven't checked the pole since the changes, is it no longer giving a slight fishing speed boost?</p>

The explanation on the item though is vague.</p>
