Hi. Since today I am getting this error every time I try to start the game:

It always pops up right after the intro banners (basically when it would normally load the character seletion).

The odd thing is, that the game worked fine yesterday and has been working fine for weeks... Any Advice?

I have literally just started getting this now, I cannot log on at all and have exact same problem as you in the exact same way.

Mine started when I tried to camp to a different alt, I got booted off the game and this problem started then. I have checked my subscription and still have a few days left of the 45 day bonus thingy, so it can't be that. Other than this my computer is working beautifully, so I know it's nothing wrong at my end.

*Edited.. Forgot to say I play on Splitpaw server

Getting the same error as well. Logged in over 2 hours ago without a problem but got the same fatal error message when i tried to log over to another character. Now I can't log back in as I just keep getting the same error message. I've done the full file scan as well but that hasn't helped.

I get the same error too (Splitpaw Server). I was able to log onto the US server (Guk) with no issues

ETA: I don't think it matters, but I have Windows 7

this is not isolated to windows vista, it's happening on windows 7 too So far I've only seen that splitpaw is down, I have characters on US side Guk server and that plays fine, so to me it's isolated to certain servers. The fact we see the location drive E: in the picture shows us a server location of the fatal error, not our problem.Someone feed the hamsters please.<span style="line-height: 115%; font-family: "Calibri","sans-serif"; font-size: 11pt; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-fareast; mso-ansi-language: EN; mso-fareast-language: EN-GB; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA;" > <span style="line-height: 115%; font-family: "Calibri","sans-serif"; font-size: 11pt; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-fareast; mso-ansi-language: EN; mso-fareast-language: EN-GB; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA;" >

Hi

Same here on Valor with Windows 7 - but the message I get is, that the Authentification Server (or Login Server) is down or overloaded - and this is now the case since at least 2 hours - Please maintenance people - do something about it. It's not the game server it is the Authentification (or Login) Server once more....

F.

UPDATE: I was just able to enter the game so the error is fixed. Thank you maintenance.

Issue entirely on our end and we do apologize for the inconvenience it caused. We did resolve the issue, however. If anyone is still receiving similar failures, let me know right away.

I've been getting a different one since the patch this morning (it's a similar window, but the text is different).

Just edited my last post. Try lokking on to a different toon then come back to the first one, seemed to work for me. And yes, the error was slightly different.

It's not exactly the same error, but very similar. I booted up and changed to another toon. Seems to have gotten rid of the issue.
