Station Launcher error

<p>This is the message I get</p><p>There was a problem decompressing the file C:Program FilesSony Online EntertainmentInstalled GamesEverQuest IIlp_temppaksexp02_rgn_realm_of_twilight.vpk_delta _9454_2.gz. Station launcher will try again after 5 seconds.</p><p>Then it keeps restarting and attempting it over and over and never actually getting anywhere. It scans, then gives me "update failed" and that message. It downloaded 2.3gb before the error popped up at all.</p><p>Any ideas?</p>

<p>alright trying the eq2 specific launcher now, hoping it works.</p><p>I was reading the forum here and that seems like what an admin would suggest. Wish me luck</p>

<p>The Test server patch is failing repeatedly on Station Launcher. The one time it flashed an actual error aside from "patch failed, retry?" it popped off too quick for me to c/p it. =</p><p>edit: I have no problems patching Live.</p>

I just got the everquest 2 sentinels fate collectors edition & i have installed & uninstalled it like 10 now. It always gets to about 2.02gb & pops up that "There was a problem decompressing the file C:Program FilesSony Online EntertainmentInstalled GamesEverQuest IIlp_temppaksexp02_rgn_realm_of_twilight.vpk_delta _9454_2.gz. ". It NEVER gets past that point. I have even uninstalled & tried to d'load it from the website, still no luck. Oh, it also says that all servers are down in red in the window it opens to the right of the main window when it is downloading.</p><p>Any solution or did I just waste my money on this?</p>

<p>You can delete the file mentioned and the entire LP_temp folder.  It should re-download the file.</p><p>However, if the issue persists, I would highly recommend updating your current EQII installation with our new Full LaunchPad 3 available for download at the link below.</p><p><a href="http://launch.soe.com/eq2/" target="_blank">[EQII] LaunchPad</a></p>
