Download problem

<p>Hello all, I have recently started playing EQ2 again and have encountered a little problem.  Everytime I start the game it has to go through a 3 min download.  Now this isnt huge, but it is getting annoying.</p><p>Any clue what is going on or how to fix it?</p><p>Thanks!</p>

<p>Which patcher are you using?  We got Station Launcher, with multiple game access, and the game specific LaunchPads which come in a full download or streaming iteration.</p>

<p>I am using an EQ2 specific launchpad...What is the best way to install the game?  I have been away for a while and installed from the last discs that I owned and updated from that.  Is there a specific directory I should have the game installed in?</p><p>Just let me know what would correct this and I will do it if it even means a complete reinstall from a download or whatever, it is really getting annoying.</p><p>Thanks</p>

<p>I think it was a different patcher altogether included on the discs.</p><p>Download our new LaunchPads and let me know if its the same as you are using.  I am not sure what file structure your current patcher uses but if you do not mind redownloading it doesn't matter.</p><p><a href="http://launch.soe.com/eq2/" target="_blank">[EQII] LaunchPad</a></p>
