Hi everyone, Tech support.

I dont know where to put this request as it is probably not related to my connexion which is stable (300ms steady ping, 0 loss) , nor graphical (100 average FPS and no glitch).

The problem is that when i use a spell of let say a recast time of 2 minutes, the timer will start to run @ 1 minute 45 seconds (instead of 2 minutes), will decrease at a fast pace to 1 minutes then resets to 1 minutes 20, then decrease again down to 0 but i wont be able to use that spell again for 10 secondes. The real time being 2 minutes, i cannot use the spell before 2 minutes but it is very disturbing to see the icon fill up and stays dark with a timer @ 0. This goes the same to spell effect duration (timer goes fast but icon stays for a few more seconds once it's down to 0 )

As you can imagine this is very disturbing in term of gameplay.

I have tried driver update with latest or older no change. It is true that the only change in my configuration is the graphic card but i haven't seen any issue like that in any other game (but none of them has such filling up icon so who knows, yet the timer starting at a lower time does not seems graphic related)

No o/c for the CPU and GPU (as it might be clock related) and my CPU do not have HT but it's multicore (E8500)

If anyone has an idea, i'll gladly take it.

300ms isn't disconnect high, but it could be considered laggy.

Can't say with certainty that this is the cause of your issue without a bit more testing. Would you mind opening a support ticket and PMing me the incident number? We'll run through some tests together.

Ticket opened and PM sent. Thanks for your support.

Side note: i have from time to time a better ping but that does not seems to change the problem.

Still no solutions.

We have checked a lot of thing including reinstall of EQ2 with no luck.

My next step will be different graphic card and after reinstall of OS...

Finally found the issue of this weird bug : it looks like it was some settings in my Bios that was overclocking my graphic card by default. After loading fail safe (might not be optimize but hey...) i dont have the spells clock doing weird thing and can rely on the icon to know if a spell can be used or not and when it can be reused
