i havent played in a while, but i plan to either come back to my old lvl 70ish coercer or start over again from scratch to re learn how to play her. i've been reading up stuff here silently for a short time and realize i've alot to catch up on like why we are a neutral class now, what are adornments and how do they work etc..

but what i'm most concerned about are the importance of the different base stats. i read someone's opinion that stamina and intelligence are the only stats that benefit us now. and while this actually sounds good to me because the less stats i need to focus on the better, i'm wondering how true this is, and if it is true, why? are agi and wis for avoiding melee/spell damage not worth anything anymore?

The only stats to affect you now are sta and int. The other ones have no benefits for your class. Adornments are enhancements for your gear. They give you things like more ability mod, crit, potency, health, power, etc. Some are player made, some are quest rewards. Some come from faction vendors.

Player made ones are made from transmuting items which means breaking them into components. Everyone can transmute now, it's a skill like harvesting. Only adorners can make adornments, and it's a secondary tradeskill.
