Hey, okay so I have Windows 7 Ultimate on this computer, I have the install location set to the usual C:Program FilesEverquest II. But, in game stuff - cache / saved customizations / houses / logs / etc. go to the obnoxiously long C:Users[user]AppDataLocalVirtualSToreProgram FilesEverquest II. Mostly gets just annoying when doing file manipulation with that, but also setting up ACT at times and other stuff. It works properly when ran as administrator, goes to C: program files..., but if not administrator it goes to C:users...

What I am wondering is if you guys know how to make it go to the C:program filesEverquest II folder when not ran as administrator. Main reason is that the game usually borks other crap when ran as admin - such as ventrilo push to talk stops functioning when in eq2, which sucks for raiding. Also uses an extra gigabyte or two having duplicates of a lot of things.

any thoughts?

Thanks!

Our current LaunchPads use the C:UsersPublicSony Online EntertainmentInstalled GamesEverquest II folder by default. You can specify your own folder during installation. It does not save data outside of this folder. I suspect that you are using a much older launcher.

You can download the latest LaunchPad below. I do recommend the Full iteration.

[EQII] LaunchPad
