CrusaderCrusader's Faith now applies as a group buff to the Crusader's group. All damage inflicted by that group will apply the heal to the Crusader.

In Raids its pretty much "immunity" for 24 seconds, with a short 1 min Reuse Timer...

Actually its a buff and nerf.

Its a buff because yes it puts the buff on the group instead of the mob....done for server hardware performance issues. It is the same % of heal but instead of the damage recorded onto the mob it is the damage recorder the group does.

It is a nerf because the 10% accuracy, strike-thru, and spell hit rate now only goes with the buff onto the group and no longer gives it to the raid.

Scouts don't really need strikethrough or accuracy anyways.

Other tanks do, so in effect it is a nerf to other tanks hit rates NOT in the crusaders group.

Our Shadowknights could never use the spell, because it caused severe lag for the entire raid. So it's no nerf.

I would trade double spell lag for 24 seconds of damage immunity every minute.

It's not nearly that powerful. You still take the damage in order to be healed, it's not like Divine Aura where it blocks all incoming damage. Yes it's good for staying topped off, but if you're taking a lot of damage very quickly? It's not going to do a THING to save you.

Pros of this change (VS how it works now): No need to worry about accidentally putting it on an add or some other wasteful use, it works across all engaged targets. (meaning it will be more powerful on AE classes and AE fights than it currently is), reduced lag VS current.

Cons of this change: No more easy 10% raidwide Accuracy, Strikethrough and Spell Penetration. Reduced healing in raids (Pulls healing from 6 targets, not 24)

The heal has always only been based on the groups DPS.

Ah really? Hrm, doesn't seem like it sometimes. Well even so, the rest of my points still stand. It's not near immortality, and it's no longer a raidwide accuracy buff.

Bruener wrote:

The heal has always only been based on the groups DPS.

^^^

Tour is just Tour when he was saying its 1 min "immunity". The heal only worked on group dmg, the 10% buffage was raid wide (as it worked on anyone who hit the mob). There is one other subtle nerf to it involving the 10% issue. That is the 10% Strike / accur / spell pen was a temp buff placed on the person that lasted 5 seconds. So you could have that 10% for up to 29 seconds as opposed to now which is 24 seconds. It only means at most 3 spells / 2 swings in that 5 seconds but what ever still slight nerf.
