<p>I have the streaming client.</p> <p></p> <p>Since today's update, I cannot get into the game.</p> <p>This is what happened. In each case, I go through the launch pad.</p> <p>Each time, when I log into character select, it gets to 80% and freezes. It says I have to download 75 MB. Nothing happens afterwards. The little animation on the download guy stops moving.</p> <p></p> <p>1. I tried to log in and hit the issue above. I had to bring up task manager to shut EQ2 down.</p> <p>2. I went back into the launch pad and I go up to options and click Settings Tool. For some reason this starts the Scan Game Assets. The launch pad proceeded to download 110 MB.</p> <p>3. I clicked Play. Froze up again at 80% and...I needed 75 MB.</p> <p>4. Again, I used task manager to shut down EQ2.</p> <p>5. I went back into the launch pad and I go up to options and click Settings Tool. For some reason this starts the Scan Game Assets. The launch pad proceeded to download 35 MB.</p> <p>6. I clicked Play. Froze up again at 80% and...I needed 75 MB.</p> <p>7. I went back into the launch pad and I go up to options and click Settings Tool. For some reason this starts the Scan Game Assets. The launch pad froze at Checking(100%). I closed out the launch pad.</p> <p>8. I repeated item 7.</p> <p>9. I went back into the launch pad and clicked Play instead of downloading the game some more. Again, I froze up at 80%....with....75 MB to download!</p> <p>10. Again, I used task manager to shut down EQ2.</p> <p>11. I went back into the launch pad and I go up to options and click Settings Tool. For some reason this starts the Scan Game Assets. The launch pad proceeded to download 35 MB. I did not close down the launch pad.</p> <p>12. The launch pad got stuck at "Checking". I closed out the launch pad (clicking Cancel Check did nothing).</p> <p>13. I went back into the launch pad and I go up to options and click Settings Tool. For some reason this starts the Scan Game Assets. The launch pad froze at Checking(100%). I closed out the launch pad.</p> <p>14. I opened the launch pad again. Clicked Play. Guess what! I needed to download 75 MB again but it froze at...you know what...80%!</p> <p>15. I decided to make this thread.</p> <p>As you can see, I'm in what appears to be an endless loop. If I could only download everything I needed to download in one shot that'd be great. I suspect this is due to the streaming client.</p> <p></p> <p>Anyways, can I switch to a non-streaming client where I can download the game in one big shot?</p>
