I've been getting a client crash frequently, but not constantly, after zoning. Zoning will complete, character will load in and objects around will appear, but it will then freeze and crash.

It will almost always happen if i die during the SG PQ in Great Divide, but has occured zoning into guild halls or houses, but with much less frequency. If it occurs during a PQ, it will almost always happen the next few times i try to log in and then zone.

I've tried removing cache and ini files, but no result so far, any advice would be appreciated

No error message appears to other then an "eq2 client application has stopped working" win 7 error message

dxdiag will follow in next post

We've had a lot of reported issues with ATI Radeon drivers later than 10.12

I do recommend downgrading to the 10.12's or earlier to simply identify if the issue lies in the drivers. I have a running list of known issues and driver versions that our QA is working through as well to hammer out bugs we can affect on our end but it is not entirely under our control.

As an update, I tried switching to the 10.10 drivers, and crashes still continue unfortunately

Let's move on to another thing that could cause it and matches up with your description.

ATI has a utility called ATITool that can be used to stress test your video card and monitor your temperatures. I highly recommend obtaining this utility, running the stress test, and monitoring your video card temperatures at the time of your issues in EQ2. Report back with your findings.

ATITool doesn't seem to work with win 7, but i used msi afterburner to monitor my temperatures, there was no temperature spike or change when i crash, card 1 held steady at 78C, and card 2 at 66C, for the duration of the game session

Meh, I scrolled through the video card part a little quick after I saw the driver dates and the 2nd card didn't register.

Can you disable/remove your 2nd video card altogether and see if you can get it to crash? EQII doesn't take advantage of the 2nd card.

Defective system RAM can cause this. I added new memory to my system to reach a whopping 1.5 Gigs and noticed that I was crashing during zoning. But, I was also getting some other odd happenings in Windows and it was just all too coincidental. I ran Windiag http://oca.microsoft.com/en/windiag.asp and it failed every test. Put old memory back in and it passed all tests. If this is your only problem, then it's probably not system RAM. Hard to diagnose these things sometimes.. as multiple things could be the root cause.

Agreed, ram can cause this as well. So many different things can cause similar behavior, even as simple as corrupt files.
