I know it was stated that a throwing weapon on par with the Bow that drops in ascent would be included in GU60. Does anyone know if this happened?

Dont think so. The one I have seen are far inferior to bows. Some completely clueless dev put riposte on them insted of multi-attack. Yes thats right a tanking stat. This just adds insult to injury.

Which Scout would use a throwing weapon?

Serious question.

My brig would. There is a combat art called double throw that requires a throwing weapon in order to be used.

A brigand or swashie who wants to use the CAs that requires the use of throwing weapons to function.

If SOE cannot add in a scout throwing weapon, then please fix the CA to use a bow so we never again have to try to wake up the item creation Dev after each expansion with the same question of "where's the scout throwing weapon??"

Check the Rygorr faction merchant. It's supposed to be there for 75 shards.

I've not seen it yet. I read about it in the Test forum on a thread about throwing weapons.

Never used the throwing CA much save for when I had to attack by distance, which wasn't often, maybe in a raid now and then when I had to joust out or solo when I'd pull a mob. The bow does as well, if not a bit better.

Sounds like they tweaked, (if you can call it that), a fighter satchel. No surprise, and unless they really did put something in game on par with current bows, I'll just keep my Treah. I'm so glad I did not decline a chance to roll need on that item.

P.S. I further predict this thread will be shortly moved somewhere else it can be more easily ignored.

I just wish they would make the brig/swashy ca's work with bows...

The Cocooned Satchel dropped in ToFS X2 last night....yet again. We muted it.

SOE....here's a very simple, three stage fix to the rather strange inability on your part to remember that you put restrictions on scouts with regard to ranged combat, and refuse to provide us suitable gear.

1. Make a copy of the Cocooned Satchel, and change it's name. I don't care to what....Pretty Pink Satchel With Glittering Sequins of Death. It doesn't matter.

2. Change the +114 STR, to +114 AGI.

With me so far? I'm trying to keep this simple for you guys.

3. Change the Bruiser and Monk designation to Swash and Brigand, and add it to the loot table in ToFS X2.

STOP!

You're done. You don't need to add riposte, or anything thing else to this satchel. Your work is done, and rogues will be happy.
