Help! I'm being shot with lasers!

<p>Weird bug.</p><p>As I'm standing still or moving around, I'm getting strange light bugs. It almost looks like I'm being shot at by a laser. Lights are randomly shooting to and from my character across the screen. Small lines flashing in different directions. I'm sure it has to do with the lighting around my character. They do not occur anywhere else on the screen. (for example, the same lights don't shoot to and from npcs or mobs. Only from my toon.</p><p>I've tried all the lighting/performance settings and nothing fixes it. </p><p>I'm using an ATI Radeon 4850 with current drivers. I've uninstalled drivers with a driver sweeper and reinstalled.</p><p>Any help?</p>

<p>What you describe may be artifacts that are usually a result of an overheating or failing video card, or drive corruption.</p><p>I would start with reinstalling the video card drivers first then doing additional testing in the ways of temperature monitoring and stress testing that video card.</p>
