I think you're thinking of the upcoming world event for unlocking the dragon ring and wizard spires in [Removed for Content]/EW.

The only thing that the Dragon Ring and Wizard Spire unlock events share with public quests is that they are on timers and they allow everyone to get quest credit regardless of number of players. They do not scale and do not reward individual loot chests.

Once the events are cleared on test they will be activated on live. There are still a few tweaks and changes needed for themt o be ready so they will go in at a later date.

ok, appreciate you answering about the Dragon Ring Gninja, but can you answer the original question please?

There's no new Public Quests in the GU 60 update? Thought there was mention of 1 to be added in Eastern Waste?

Could you comment on the topic at hand, is there a new Public Quest in EW or has it been held back as well, or do you know?

Gninja, Amnerys, Smokejumper, anyone at SOE? What's the news or update on the new PQ that was suppose to be included in the GU update?

Delayed, obviously, but till when?

The current PQs are still in testing mode, so I don't think we will see a new one for a while yet.

Thx Zal, not surprised a player helped/answered. SOE and communication aren't on the same planet. Sad

OK everybody was expecting a new pq, in fact it was talked about a couple of months back. So if were not getting a new pq, then what happened. Everybody though we were getting one.

So if were not getting a new pq in ew area then at least fix the chest drop rate in the 2 pq's we got and fix the lag.

This is very frustrating thinking we were getting something and then poof.

Lakaxy, do you honestly expect a moderator to immediately respond to your demands? Don't be arrogant. They have work to do.

However I would imagine that he would not be able to tell us as who knows what could change between now and then in their development priorities. Best no to promise anything now as we all know the community come the next GU will shout and scream "Why wasn't xyz feature included when you said it would be"

I am actually challenging you to show me just one thing which was released and worked fine from the beginning , having obtained this "cleared on test" green check. It's absoluitely frustrating to see broken things every [Removed for Content] single update. I am a software developer myself by the way. If I had released anything , half as badly broken as yuor development team does, I would have been fired straight away.

God what a great job you guys must have. Produce crap code, still get your fat paychecks. Must work really well in your industry.

They come on here and comment/dance around everything but the original question.

As stated before it was said there would be a new PQ in EW in the GU60 update. It wasn't there, no mention of it.

It's a simple question; When will the new PQ be out, is there an ETA since it obviously didn't make the GU update.

I try and keep up with these boards pretty well, but I never remember a PQ being announced as a feature comming in with GU60. Could someone direct me to where it was stated there would be one please?

They been talking about a new pq for the past 3 months now. I guess we all assumed that it was coming with 60. So we all assumed wrong.

Zam and others are great and all, but when the list of features for the PQ GU was given by Sony and no mention was made of a new PQ, and scanning the In Testing forum one did not see any sort of feedback thread about the new PQ it never dawned on me to think there would be a new PQ.

Of course, a flaw in that argument is I never saw any threads dedicated to Drunder feedback in the In Testing forum either, just Crystal Caverns, but at least Drunder was anounced by Sony. Guess that's why Drunder seems such a mess.

But I digress...

"Assume" = *edited to remove forum violation* ...I never saw anything listed saying unequivocally that we'd get a new PQ with this GU. They hinted one would come in the "future." That is NOT a guarantee that it MUST be the next one. I never once read or heard anyone specifically say "60." If you can post details and prove it was said? I still won't care cause stuff happens. You just gotta roll with the punches.

If you can point me to it on zam and prove me wrong, please do, but in the meantime, don't blindly place your assumptions on other people/sites.

It was never in the GU60 Test patch notes. It was never in the GU60 Live patch notes. It was never (to the best of my knowledge) on beta. It was never on Test between DoV and now. It was not mentioned at all in the Round Table Q&A for GU60. I'd wager a guess that someone mentioned it before on the forums so now assumptions are flying rampant for a few of you.
