Jintu's gift

<p>At what point in the quest line does the Jintu's item become an ability? I've run through the quest line on a new crafter and I received the original item and a frond.  I've used both, equipped and unequipped, have zoned out of SF and rezoned back in and reused the items and I still dont' have an ability ...</p><p>Any ideas?</p><p>I saw a thread from back in 2010 about Jintu's gift, and that person got their issue resolved when they zoned... but that didn't work for me.</p><p>Thanks for any help!</p>

<p>While you are in Sundered Fronteir equip the item and right-click > use it while equipped, it should then give you the ability in your book.</p>

<p>Yes is does work.  I took my weaponsmith thru those quests before the adventuring side and noticed the same thing.  But once I did the adventure quest line, I noticed the Jintu's gift in my knowledge book...</p>
