CANNOT log into the game, stuck at "Trying Login Server..."

<p>What's going on? For some reason I am no longer able to log into the game. I start the launchpad fine with no problems, but when it gets to the Everquest 2: Destiny of Velious Screen, it brings up the "Trying Login Servers.... X." I am not having any connection problems, and any other game that I have that accesses the internet is working fine. The "Login Servers," screen started happening when I logged in yesterday at night (9 pm) and when I woke up today, it still persists.</p><p>Please help</p><p>Thanks</p><p>Intercede</p>

I have the same issue, past 2 days. I tried launcher and launching the game directly (eq2.exe), none works.

<p>I can not log in at all. I am getting really [Removed for Content]! It tells me unable to contact server. PLease try again later. It will not go past login screen.  What is going on?? I played earlier this afternoon with no problem.  Now I can't get in at all.</p>

<p>If you are using a software based firewall - like Windows Firewall, Trend Micro, etc go into the applications listing for the firewall and delete the entries for the game frm the list. When you launch the game it should ask you to allow the application through.</p>

I had to turn off firewall to be able to connect

If you are using a software based firewall that relies on checksum processing (99 percent of software firewalls do this method) any time the application changes - IE gets patched you have to manually remove it from the accepted list and let it add back.</p>
