Game Update 60 is just around the corner with a release date of May 31st. Many exciting new additions will come with this update and this weekend ZAM is giving you a preview of some of this content.

The Battlegrounds pits players against each other in unique settings with various game types. The queue interface window is getting a facelift and players can team up in the new cross-server lobby, Champion's Respite. A new game type is being added: Vanquish. This type of match entails not only the Player versus Player aspect of the game but also Player versus Environment and interaction with objects in the zone.An expansive stretch of ice and snow with two mighty keeps, The Frozen Tundra is the home of the Vanquish matches. This game type is a maximum of 18v18 with players being placed on either the Coldain (blue) or Kromzek (red) team. A team's ultimate goal is to destroy their opponent's Relic of Power to claim their victory.Take a look at our video featuring this new game type and check out our Frozen Tundra guide for more information!

edit: Apparently there was some interesting conversation on the test channel about the video that my hubby informed me of. To address a few points from that and other comments I've received:

Yup, there's some funky/bad cuts in the video. Out of ~30-45 mins of footage I only had ~3 mins of useable without ui on and I was alternating between ui/not ui so much that some of it came out odd.

To go along with the above, I'm far from a professional at the whole video thing and this is the "best" one I've ever done in terms of editing.

I'm a Swashbuckler, not a Bruiser! Yes, the gi is misleading, but my normal armor is pretty mis-matched.

Though not seen in the video, I died so much during those matches I could've probably made a huge montage of just that.

I know it's not quite the relic at the end, it's the gate blocking the relic. We ran out of time before reaching it and the one match where we did get to the relic I had my UI on (figures, huh?).

The music is from the EQ1 PoP-era Solusek Ro mp3.

Thanks to everyone who's given feedback so far! It's definitely a learning process doing action oriented videos for me.
