<p>I saw them on the AH. What can you use them for? I used to play lotro and you could dye all your gear if you wanted too. How does it work in this game?</p>

no dyes for armor.. it doesnt work in this game.

<p>If they aren't good for armor -- what do u use them for?  personally, badly colored armor is the only thing I'd want them for.  Can you use them on mounts?  Weapons?  Now i'm curious=)</p>

they have said before we would never have dyable armor etc here... they didnt like the effect on eq1 apparently lol...

<p>Nah, it wasn't due to them not liking the effect.  Its because armor in EQ2 is much more complex as far as shaders and colors go.</p>
