<p>Getting an error :</p><p>There was a problem decompressing the file C:Program FilesSonyEverQuest IIlp_tempLegendsOfNorrathLegendsOfNorrath.dll_delt a_10509_126.gz. Please try again. </p><p>Now, this looks like a permissions thing with Win 7 or something, but it's an XP machine so that goes out the window. I've tried blasting out the temp and the lp_temp folders but that didnt help either. Anyone have another idea before I uninstall and reinstall totally? This is on my work machine (shhh) so I'd rather not do an entire redownload and have the head network guy asking me why I downloaded like 10 gbs and such (not that it would be a major issue, I am in IT as well but just rather not have the discussion if I can avoid it) Also tried the 'just launch EQ2.exe' workaround too, but it's been a while since it was updated so it can't launch.</p><p>UPDATE</p><p>After a little more digging, it seems that deleting the LegendsofNorrath.dll did the trick. If you are having the same issue, give that a try. Mine was buried inside of Program Files/Everquest2/LegendsOfNorrath directory since I do not have it installed stand alone. All else fails, use your search function with your OS. Maybe this will help someone else.</p>
