Hello,

My computer died.

Wanted some input on the following grahphics:

Intel® HD Graphics 3000

Will that run on EQ2?

I'm hoping it will.

I read it supports pixel shading and vertex support or what not.

Thanks.

Don't need an awesome graphics card, it's all processor. I have a laptop that I use for EQ2, to box 2 on it, and its a intergrated graphics.. I keep both on Balanced setting with a few things upped for more eye pleasing, and I don't lag what so ever.

All CPU..

Mind you shadows are laggy..ish. But still.

I am using the integrated GPU (HD3000) on my 2500k. It performs OK, though it gets choppy when there is a lot to render. I've been pushing the clock up on the GPU, which has helped a little. If you aren't sensitive to low frame rate rendering and aren't worried about having great graphics, it will be good enough for you.

Thanks. This really helps. For a long time I've been running EQ2 on my Macbook under Crossover Games, the old macbook has nVidia graphics, the new one I'm going to get is a macbook pro but it has the Intel HD 3000 graphics. Great to know it'll be playable.

I'll just be sure to turn shadows off.
