I am having the same problem. I was fine before they took the system down, but I get this error message now when I try to log in. I don't know what the answer is either.

Right click start, open in explorer. Go to program files/sony/installed games/legendsofnorrath. Open and delete legends of Norrath.dll. Thats how I fixed the issue per a post on FB about it.

Here's the fix for Win 7 OS.Go to My Computer. Navigate to following directory "C:ProgramDataSony Online EntertainmentInstalled GamesEverQuest II". Delete your "EverQuest2.exe" file.Relax... As long as you do not empty your Recycle Bin, you can always open your "Recycle Bin" and undelete the file.

Enjoy!

While we do recommend making the transition to our latest LaunchPad for Everquest II, which I have linked below, there is a workaround.

As previously stated, browser to your EQII game folder and delete the LegendsofNorrathLegendsofNorrath.dll file. Return to the EQII game folder and delete the LP_Temp folder, entirely, as well.

Also make sure you are starting Station Launcher as an admin by right-clicking the icon and selecting Run as Admin (for Vista/7 users).

And here it the new LaunchPad for EQII link.

[EQII] LaunchPad
