In order to tweak my raid performance, I was working with a guildie to create a few ACT triggers that would notify me when my raidwide cure spell and AOE blocker wore off, so that I would know instantly to start using other tools. Imagine my surprise that there is NO casting text at all for Tortise shell, and Natural cleanse has a cast message but no expiration message. I think the same might hold true for hibernation as well - I did not get a message for casting it, or a message when it went off.

I realize that ACT is an add on and that it isn't supported by the devs. However, if I was using the ingame text windows to track things (good luck with all that text flying by, but still) - I wouldn't be able to tell when the spells had worn off that way either. Yes, I have a maintained spell window - however, Natural Cleanse doesn't show up there. I'm running out of screen real estate anyway, so checking my maintained constantly isn't a good option. Besides, I'm a MUD player from way back, and I miss my flavor text!

So is there something I am missing somewhere, or would it be possible to have a dev look the spells and add the text? It seems like all my other spells and abilities have the approrpirate messages, but these seem to have been overlooked or perhaps broken somewhere along the way.

(And yes, I realize that I can count to 16 and 30 in my head. I'd just like to make my life a little bit easier if possible!)

PS - Since I'm on a work smarter, not harder kick would it be possible to get Macro icons added that are numbers? Say 1-6? I like to rotate animal form between several targets, and have a tell macro for each victim. This would make it easier for me to track where I am in the rotation.

As a substitute for a text on casting a spell, you can send a message to a private channel instead.

If the spell is lacking a message for when it wears off, you can have a timer start at the start of the spell instead, as the duration in known anyway.

For the macro icon numbers: there are. The tagtarget buttons can be dragged to the macro window to use those icons.

<3 you for the tagtarget tip - already implemented! Thank you!

I have group/raid macros for tshell and cleanse, I was just hoping to get the accuracy of a trigger based on the actual script. Sometimes I queue abilities, so the timer being based on my macro text won't be as accurate as it could be. I guess a second or two here and there isn't a huge deal - I'll try to implement it the way you suggested based on my macro calls. Thanks for the suggestions (and I still do miss the flavor text!).
