<p>Dabner Drednever is a cleric of Brell Serilis. He is a compassionate and simple man, light of heart and jovial in spirit. He does not share the intelligence of his close friend Ognit, nor the physical strength of his sworn protector, the barbarian woman Dagda.  Dabner has convinced Ognit to show him a bit of tinkering. </p><p>Is this the same drednever the expedition is named after?</p>

I don't know if it is, but that is the very same Ognit from EQlive's storyline.. He used to be Al'Kabor's assistant, until the erudite decided to permanently strip him of the ability to ever use any form of magic again after he screwed up his first experiment to open a portal to Luclin.

<p>Yes, the Drednever Expedition is lead by Captain Dabner Drednever, who can be found at the Drednever Crash Site in the Bonemire region of the Kingdom of Sky. His Gnomish rocket crashed there, and thus was the site named.</p><p>Ognit Eznertob is also associated with the Drednever Expedition, and can be found within Solusek's Eye in Lavastorm. The remnants of the Gnomish mole machine he used are at the very bottom of Solusek's Eye, though it is unreachable (being stuck on a rock in the middle of a giant pit of lava).</p><p>Neither foray was what you'd normally consider "successful."</p>
