Unable to submit a petition

<p>Greetings. </p><p>I've been trying to petition since the game came back up - here is my issue. Anytime I try in game or on the website I get the same error:</p><p>"The program can't start because MSVCP71.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem."</p><p>I admit I have no idea what this program is or how I would go about reinstalling it. I've run the patcher and re-run the patcher but beyond that I am clueless. Any help would be most appreciated.</p><p>- Starley</p>

I also have this problem. When I claimed the free character slot from the LON Loot Card I logged to character select and nada. Relogged and still no extra character slot. Tried to submit a petition and I have been unable to get it to submit for 3 days now. I get the same message you did.

<p>You can find the file, <span style="color: #cae0e6; font-family: verdana, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">MSVCP71.dll, in your LegendsofNorrath folder.  Copying the file from that location to my main EQ2 game folder got rid of that error for me.  However, even with the error, I was able to click OK and still use the browser in my case.</span></p>

I was unable to submit a petition last night, but for a completely different reason.</p><p>Once I typed in all the required information (removal of the previously pre-filled categories is annoying) and hit submit, the sending circle icon thing just kept going round and around.</p><p>After trying to submit my petition 4 times, and waiting up to 10 mins for it to send, I gave up.</p><p>Most of my guild were very amused that I couldn't petition that /petitiion was broken, because /petition was broken o.0</p>

<p>I am having problems petioning too. I can fill everything out but it will not go through to send it. I keep crashing during zoning and have not had that issue until today after gu60. My one character is currently stuck zoning into her house <img src="/eq2/images/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" /></p>
