2 days ago i loaded EQ2 just fine, as always.

Yesterday, after signing in to Station Launcher i was prompted with a "Where would you like to install eq2" instead of my normal "Scanning local files"

Since eq2 was previously installed on this system I directed it to the path where eq2 was/is installed.

Now when running launchpad i am prompted withe the error"Cannot load manifest. Insufficient disk space. 11740mb needed & i have 4.56GB free.

about to give up.

11,740mb =11.74 GB

11.74GB > 4.56GB

So giving up is your best option because continuing down that path is never going to work.

If you only have 4.56GB free you REALLY need to buy a new disk or delete A LOT of stuff.

If they have previously logged into EQ2 then that suggests they already have it installed, in which case you shouldn't need 11Gb of free space.

Perhaps they installed EQ2 (or even EQ2X) using one of the launchers which the Station Launcher doesn't recognise, and therefore thinks that it has to download the game from scratch.

Unless there is a particular reason why you want to use the Station Launcher, I'd just stick with whatever regular launcher you used before.

if you were previously using the Station Launcher without issue, then I have no clue, please ignore everything above.

I have a 15gig drive JUST for EQ2.

You could move your page file off of the drive just in case. Check your asset_cache folder that its not duplicating any of the asset cache files (it would do this if you tried to 2box with the streaming client). My game folder is roughly 13.5gb, though some of that may be logs/screenshots. You would then need additional space for anything else present, even it's recycling bin, and a page file if yo have it configured that way. 15GB is cutting it very close.

Mine is 16.8GB with no logfiles or screenshots, wonder why.

Do you have test server installed to it too, perhaps? I can't imagine UI mods that are several gigs big.
